Best affordable activities for an unforgettable Miami trip
It’s that time of the year again ladies! It looks like Hot Girl summer is amongst us and it’s giving girls trip because the weather is hot but the summer deals are even hotter. There’s so many places in the U.S to visit for a girls trip but something about Miami just hits different. The Florida air is just….exquisite. What I like the most about Miami is the people and the fact that there’s so many things to do. You can party all night and enjoy some really good restaurants with beautiful views. Here’s a list of fun things to do for your first time in Miami.
Parasailing
I was very apprehensive about parasailing at first because I’m terrified of heights but I enjoyed the ride and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. It was very relaxing and the boat didn’t go too fast….thankfully. That really helped calm my nerves and the landing wasn’t bad at all. In fact, the landing was really smooth and a photographer is there to capture cool pictures of you while you land so make sure you smile as much as possible while coming down.
Try some other watersports
Miami’s warm waters and beautiful coastline provide the perfect backdrop for adventurous activities. If parasailing doesn’t peak your interest, you can try other water-sports such as paddle boarding, jet skiing, or kayaking to help cool you down from the intense Miami heat.
Relax at the beach
Grab a cute bathing suit and soak up the sun. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Miami Beach. With miles of sandy beaches, it’s a paradise for beach lovers and perfect for some cute beach selfies. Make sure you add the beach to your itinerary and be ready to show off that summer body you’ve been working on all year.

Mango’s Tropical cafe South Beach-Enjoy live latin music and cocktails until 5AM. They also offer salsa lessons every night at 7:30pm but that’s not all…..you can get brunch here too. Thursday-Monday from 11am-3pm. Bottomless mimosas too of course😏 I mean, what’s brunch without bottomless mimosas…Am I right? You know the vibes.
LIV MIAMI-This is one of the hottest nightclubs in Miami. Dress to impress because celebs and VIPs come here and you never know who you’ll run into.
VooDoo Lounge-offering a nice dance floor and rooftop space where you can get lit and chug some good frozen drinks(The daiquiris are so good) and food. They offer hookah for all the smokers out there and if you forget to eat before clubbing , there’s pizza, seafood, and sushi on the menu.
E11even-this club is guaranteed to give you all the entertainment you need featuring trapeze dancers and burlesque shows in a neon-lit setting.
Explore some new restaurants

Area31– An upscale seafood dining experience serving top tier seafood and cocktails with a beautiful view.
Wet Willies– It’s the drinks for me. They offer a wide array of rainbow colored frozen drinks and the food will make your mouth water. I recommend sitting on the patio to get a good view of the beach.
Big Pink– The pink decor is guaranteed to bring the girls out. This spot is perfect for aesthetic pictures and the food is great. The drinks are a bit overpriced but very good nonetheless.
Café Bastille Downtown Miami– This restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with an amazing staff and delicious food options at a reasonable price. Looking for a good brunch spot? Give this place a try!
Day parties
Pool parties are very easy to find around the city. You can enjoy some good drinks, music, and meet some really cool people. You can find these parties on social media or sometimes Groupon. So grab a swimsuit, a nice cold drink, and get ready for some fun.
Speed boat tours
Feel the wind in your hair and witness iconic sights, including celebrity homes, during a thrilling speed boat tour. I must warn you though…they don’t call it a speedboat for nothing. I wore strip lashes before going on the tour because I wanted to be cute or whatever but I almost lost them in the process. I had to take them off during the ride because if not, they would’ve ended up in the ocean somewhere! Besides my minor lash fiasco, I really enjoyed the tour and how it was so interactive. They play good music and the breeze feels so good.
Go shopping
Always bring some extra money for shopping. Miami’s high-end shopping destinations like the Design District and Lincoln Road Mall, offer a mix of luxury brands and unique boutiques.
No matter what you’re looking for, Miami has an enticing experience waiting for you.
